Dr Carl-Magnus Brodén

MD

Dr Brodén is a medical gastroenterologist and also the CEO of GB Obesitas. Carl-Magnus has extensive experience in meeting patients with obesity pre and post surgery, he is also one of Sweden’s most active lecturers on disease awareness towards patients as well as health care and the public.

Dr Hjörtur Gislason

MD, PhD

Dr Gislason is our chief surgeon. He has 20+ years experience in obesity surgery and has trained the rest of our staff of surgeons in surgical technique. For many years, Hjörtur has hosted study visits from international surgery teams that come to learn from our work methods.

Dr Magnus Hjaltalin

MD, PhD

Dr Hjaltalin is our chief anaesthesiologist at GB Obesitas. Stressed and nervous before your surgery? Do not worry, Dr Hjaltalin and his team will be there to guide you through it all.

Extensive preoperative information, we answer all your questions in the lead up to you surgery.

We run through the preoperative checklist via video, where you also meet with our physicians.

You will also receive information from our dieticians and nurses. There are no stupid questions! Just ask, and we will help you.
